University Mall, rebranded to University Place, was undergoing a major redevelopment. BridgePoint was hired by Madison Marquette mid-project to manage the architects, engineers, tenant coordination, municipal approvals, budget and schedule.
The project successfully moved forward with BridgePoint Construction Services being the communication hub for all parties.
Client: Shortbread Lofts
Serving as owner’s agent, BridgePoint Construction Services represented Shortbread Lofts in the design and construction in this seven-story, 85-unit urban apartment building in downtown Chapel Hill. This $17 million urban infill project has 1.5 stories of structured parking, 6.5 stories of residential units, a fitness center, and a rooftop terrace.
We assisted the client in all aspects of the project, from design team selection to selecting a construction manager to managing owner-furnished items. Our team worked collaboratively with the architect and contractor to ensure our client’s goals for the project are met. We also coordinated many of the final details for this project, including oversight of data infrastructure, audio visual, fitness equipment, and cable television and internet deployment.
Client: Greenbridge Developments
BridgePoint served as owner’s agent for Greenbridge Developments on this mixed-use project on West Rosemary Street in Chapel Hill, NC. We worked as an extension of the Greenbridge staff, overseeing the contractor and design team. BridgePoint also served as LEED consultant for this environmentally-friendly, mixed-use development. Greenbridge was completed in 2011.
